To my experience in Montreal, it's not bad at all as long you get a decent job (This is true no matter where you are.) though I don't know French at all! English is the only language you should know.

我感觉其实真正的大企业对法语要求并不太高,反倒是那些本地的小企业要求高得多 6 c: X: o' Q# T. h3 h1 t% F $ ? U% @2 l. U: l( n0 j % j) S. D! J s' z/ [) k
Post by zzamelie 4 f; b$ g3 }3 |6 p: t% T 如果觉得在蒙特利而被法语压得不行啦,换城市也是好的.但不用说你法语不好,人家歧视你.这里的绝大多数QUEBECOIS都是没有种族歧视,也在五百强的公司工作过,绝对的办公室白领工作,一大堆一大堆的第一代移民在那工作,只讲法语的,或是只讲英语的,操着各种各样的口音.现在公司的总经理也是第一代的移民,讲得口音挺重的英语法语,交流当然完全没问题的.不要说这里不给你机会,如果不是实在语言太差啦,就是水平还是不够.

这里的税高也是被逼无奈,很多人(比如医生)一个人交的税抵得上一家的福利,但纳税光荣8 p- F ^+ s6 u, i) ]
加不加班其实税后差不了多少,换作是你,会加么?(当然他们不加等于给我们提供了就业机会)
