My bag was stolen in the exit of Montreal Dorval Airport in September14 2002, 10:20PM(Montreal time). This bag including:
  a) Three passports and three landing paper
b)Money lost totally is  US$14700.00 and CD$15200.00;
c) Acer notebook PC
d) NOKIA cell phone
e) Communication book and some files.

Descripation of event:
          All of my family(my wife, daughter and i) took the fight AC12 from Hongkong to Vancouver on Sept. 14(Hongkong time),and arrived in Vancouver at 9:15am on Sept. 14(Vancouver time).After we handled our first landing program, we transferred to take AC112 from Vancouver to Montreal and arrived at Montreal airport at 10:10PM or so(Montreal time).
          When I fetched my baggages and just walked out of the check station of airport, I had a phone to my friend to pick up me. While I was talking with my friend on phone, a men who is about 1.75meter high, with some short black and blown hair, middle size, a little black skin, looking like from south Asia, said to me that my cloth back was very duty. Meanwhile he feignedly helped me clean the duty with handkerchief and showed it to me. Then he helped me take off my clothing to show me my clothing with duty phlegm. Just because of this reason, I passingly had to put my bag on phone table. And  he put my clothing in the low place and gave me handkerchief to brush by myself, then went out quickly. Just at the time when I prepared to brush my clothing, suddenly I glimpsed my bag, It was disappeared. I rushed  out of the door. The man was in crowd. I shouted  “help me”. Two minutes later, two police gave me some inquire and make the record of the procedure. I left my friend’s name and phone number. Among two police,one’s name is Louis W. Parisien.
         I am a new immigrant, and first time to Montreal from China with full hope. But  I lost all of my money which is my ten years’ deposit and unique living source my family depend on. Additionally  I also lost all of my documents.

First, I'm sorry to hear such things once more. Haven't anyone told you when met such things,just say"It doesn't matter, thanks anyway." or "I'm not concerned about it, thanks anyway." Thus, you have to be partly responsible for this unpleasent matter for you're too careless.(Where's your family then? Why they didn't stay with you when you made a call to your friends?)

Second, it's time to deal with such trouble matter. Since you have applied for the Permanent Resident Card at the entry port at the Vancouver Airport, the Immigration Landing Paper is useless. You will receive your brand-new PR Card in the next few weeks. You'd go to the police office to ask them give you a "case record" proving all of your ID and other material stolen at the spot.Then go to Immigration Canada Office (4th floor, 276, St-Jacque) to report the case and get more detailed information about how to apply for SIN under such circumstance. After that, you should go to China Ambassador Ottawa, applying for a new passport. Before going, prepare all of the material the China Ambassador Ottawa needs.

这是一个新移民能遭遇的最不幸的经历了。

好在你已经登陆了，应该在政府有纪录的，而且你的英语还不错，赶紧去找政府吧。具体找哪个部门我也不懂，大概先从移民部，警察局，中国大使馆先入手吧。

金钱的损失就更是大问题了，估计你已经叫国内寄钱并向朋友借钱了，但比较重要的一点是，可能你要改变一下你原来的计划了，赶紧开始做工吧。 我少年时家里曾遭受重大经济变故，结果我自命清高的父母也开始做起了小商贩，虽然苦了几年，但总算挺过了一关，也是人生的经验啊。

也许还可以跟这里华人社团，教会联系，也许能筹到些钱。

这样的案例，侦破率是极低的（不到1%）。建议你不要再心存侥幸，面对现实从头做起吧。 毕竟，这世上还有很多比你更惨的人呢！

我的朋友在多伦多的遭遇简直就和你一模一样，连手法都雷同。结果是他们损失了钱，但护照和别的证件，他们塞进邮箱，最后警察还了回来。

真让人心痛！！我为你祷告，钱一定会赚回来的！不能灰心！！处事要更小心，因为你现在心情很乱，是最容易出错的时候，不要再出现失误就是好的开始。
