Hi,

The Hostel should be ok. The rating about this hostel is not bad. It's very convenient. There is a small restaurant called "Mike's place" not far from it, making good snow crab and mussel. We like them. But this time it's closed, maybe just closed for low season.

If u wanna camp near Ingonish, camp in the site in Ingonish Beach. u will see the big sign for this campsite. It was close a week ago, it may open for high season now. This site is big, safe and clean, highly recommended by me.


Lowbster season is finishing in the end of June, but not for all finishing village. When u r passing by any fishing village, u can go to the port and ask them where can u by live lobster. It should be around $5--$7 /lb.

in PEI, Cavendish Motel is nice. campsite in Cavendish national park is good too.

in Cape Breton, I was staying in Merry's Motel (B&B). It's located at Cheticamp, a French town.  Price was $60+tax  including very nice breakfast. Now is high season, so the price will be raised.

I read your plan, it's good though. I have been to maritime twice, and never stayed in New Brunswick. Because some friends have told me it doesn't worth to see. 2 days for NB should be enough. PEI would be nicer than NB, Cape Breton would be much nicer than PEI. So I would suggest you visit NB first, then PEI, then Cape Breton. The other factor would be the weather, if the weather will not be always sunny, try to arrange your trip in Cape Breton, also PEI when it is sunny. The weather in Maritime is changing so quick... Be aware.

如果你们不想赶的话，最好在PEI待在一个MOTEL里2天，CAPE BRETON半岛里待3天以上。住宿可以在GOOGLE上找，然后打电话去用信用卡预定。如果想必就FLAXIBLE，可以在进入那个省的时候在边界上一般都有INFORMATION CENTRE，问他们拿个旅游手册，他们也可以帮你查找空房并预定。 一般去到当地也能找到住的地方，只要不是非常旺季的时候。


KAYAK就算不会也没关系，租的地方一般都会有课程教你，一般1小时以内就能学会。如果是在海面上KAYAKING， 一般会有向导带队。
