It is for remembrance day in memory of ALL the canadian solidiers died in ALL wars....including Kerea war, in which a lot of Chinese were killed...some by those are to be remembered this day here...

Is it wrong to provide more info?

Maybe some one's loved grand fathers were killed in that war, is it fair to ask them to remember those who killed their grand fathers without providing them with enough info?
People can still CHOOSE to wear the little red followers, KNOWING what it REALLY means!

Could you please do not jump too soon to attack others' good intention!

那个小红花是罂粟花，应该是英联邦的传统。我觉得给老兵捐点钱也没什么不对，加拿大成为自由民主的国家也有老兵的功劳，虽然曾与志愿军为敌，但更和纳粹血战过，不能以偏概全。

I did not say whether it is right or wrong to wear the red flower.
Everyone has his/her own logic and thinkings.
I just thought that it would be good to know what it realy meant before deciding to wear it or not.
In addition, wearing the read flower is not equivalent to donating money to the old soliders. You can still donate money without wearing it and/or without anyone knowing it, if you really want to. Isn't it right?

Please do not interprete others' idea in a '以偏概全' way.

Yes, you must know the meaning of it before deciding. Nobody would and should blame you for wearing that red flower. You are FREE to all what you do.

To me, I WOULD NEVER! I prefer donate money to breast cancer research!
