该文故意引用吴柯对自己的辩护， 说自己作为海外“观察员”去北京参加政协会议，是为中共政协带去“新鲜空气”。信息不对称一直是有的中国人玩的把戏， 可惜吴柯现在玩的不是时候，现在西方国家对中共及其统战组织已经相当的了解了，使得吴柯的诡辩异常滑稽可笑。他不是海外华侨推选出来，更不是所在国派他去做观察员的，他是中共花百姓纳税人钱请去装潢假民主的。不以为耻，反以为荣。

文章特别提到National Post在10月16日文章发表之前，多次联系吴柯， 但是吴就是不回复。他以为不回答记者，人家文章就不会发表。结果打错了算盘。

看吴柯教授如何诡辩：

Without high-profile reputations themselves, they invited him to participate in the research and used his established name to obtain funding, said the professor.
“They put my name as part of the team, they can get money,” he said.

And it is a tradition when a prominent academic has a visiting position at a Chinese university to have articles written extolling — and exaggerating — the person’s affiliation, he said.

This shows exactly that Ke Wu is not a honest person. In order to apply for these recruitment plan and research grants in China, he is required to fill in the application forms with his signature, and to have signed an employment contract with the university, according to Chinese laws and rules. The other people could not do it illegally for him. If the other people used “his established name to obtain funding” as said by Wu, it was absolutely illegal and also unfair to the other people from other universities in China. A moral professor should not do it like Ke Wu. Ke Wu should be required to show the employment contract he signed with each of the three universities, which indicates his salary and how many moths he should be in China for working with the university. Ke Wu is not a person who can work for some institution free.  
( u+ ^4 e/ X* LThe one that described him as a “full-time professor” at Ningbo University actually referred to the fact he was doing a sabbatical there in 2017-2018.

This is a lie. He has started to work for Ningbo University since 2014. Since 2014, he has listed a full time professor in the web-page of this university.
