A well named company located in Laval is looking for a controller/ accountant:

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for entire accounting cycle including invoicing, receivables, payables, bank reconciliations, fulfilling all company tax requirements, special projects, preparing financial reports
• Communicate effectively with clients, internal staff and provide ongoing administrative support.
• Ensure that all schedules are respected and that tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Responsible for GST/QST, DAS, T2 tax return<O:p</O:p
• Prepare all the financial statements for internal and external uses<O:p></O:p>
• Prepare all the documents for auditor<O:p></O:p>

Qualifications
• Candidate should have a University level degree in accounting or business administration, CGA or CA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, finance or business administration.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles is required.
• Candidate should also be familiar with Revenue Quebec and reporting requirements.
• Must be personable, organized, ability to multitask, efficient and have strong communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills and Microsoft Excel skills are also necessary.
• Experience using Simply Accounting is a must.
