Please take note that we will cancel Sat bridge game this week.

The reasons are:

1. Some of us are going to take a full day contest tomorrow. Have to spare time for weekly shopping today.
2. Some of us on vacation out of town.
3. Some are going to take finals next week.
4. Some came to my home last evening for Fri evening game, would not possibly show up today.
4. Key figure Bill won't be able to show up for family reason.
5. Nobody is found to reserve tables at Angrignon park before 1:00 pm.

今天老希，FMCHEN,CHARLIE和我去参加了瑞士移位赛。结果不错，不过没有我的一点功劳，反而是由于我的原因导致我们没有拿到更好的成绩。我昨夜由于比较在乎这个比赛没有睡好教是一个原因。水平是另外一个原因。


但是我想在这里说的是：首先要感谢各位的帮助，特别是老陈帮助我改变了体系，或者说有了正规的体系。而且大家都比较谅解我的机器愚昧的错误。让我非常感动。尽管我心里急惭愧又难过。

所以，第一是感谢这个团队。第二是我还要努力上进。也希望更多的朋友继续支持和参与这个活动。

Hi ladies and gentlemen ---

I would like to take this chance to report the contest as follows:

Subject: Montreal Swiss Contest
Venue: St Bruno
Time: 10:00 am thru 6:00 pm
Number of teams: 44
Round: 8 (7 per round)
Fee: 22 per person

As Eric has mentioned, FM Chen, Xi, Eric and Charlie have taken part in the event.
First 3 rounds: FM Chen and Eric sat North South.
Last 5 rounds Charlie and Xi took North South seats.

The final result: #3 in group C.

A not too bad achievement though we should have got higher score. The simple reason was some of us got unnecessary too much stress in the first couple of rounds leading to lose to comparatively weak competing teams. I guess quite a lot of us could make the same point, or even better.

Thanks to Mr. FM Chen, he has done a lot to make it happen. Another obvious benefit is both Xi and Charlie have normalized their bidding and signaling to SAYC.

Eric ---

You don't have to blame urself so much. I believe you will be doing great next time. I think each of us has space for further improvements.
