I used dancing a lot in China, social dancing, some years ago. Now I want to study Latin and I need a partner, beginner level but have dancing experiences.

and I would like to find a place in Montreal area since I do not drive.

There will be a ballroom dance competition on St. Valentine day weekend(Feb 13, 14) in Bonaventure hotel.
Some very good dencers will be there to compete.

Jammy,
Yes, correct.
You can go to the web site to get the phone #
and call the organizer for ticket
or you can go to the hotel anytime
after 3pm on Thursday, Feb 12.
Ask the reception desk where the dance comp takes place.
When you get to that ballroom,
you'll see the organizers and ticket counter
with a seating plan posted next to it.
You can pick your seat and buy the ticket for Saturday.
On Saturday, in exchange for your ticket,
the staff there will stamp on the back of your hand with special ink,
then you can go in and out of the comp all day.
Saturday afternoon is usually for the juvenile
and junior divisions.
Don't be fooled by their age.
They might be young
but a lot of the kids are very good and full of energy.
