I am a student and want to invite my parent in law here. Two questions:

1.  Obviously I am not able to provide the Employment Letter and Salary Record as requested on the list. Does this imply my parent has little chance to obtain the visa, even not eligible for application?

2. TVR(Canadian Temporary Resident Visa). Want to make sure this is the right one for my parent.

1. 学生不需要雇主信，但作为对应最好提供校方录取证明及生活费来源，如Loan和Bursary。
2. 签证类别应该是Visitor Visa。

I suppose my parent better show he is gonna afford his trip by himself, rather than by me in a sense of sponsoring. Guess student status does not favor the application. Wonder it works like this.

我父母在上海申请探亲，领事馆要求他们体检，Y1350/人。而父母年龄都在65以下。
不知有谁有类似经历或晓得其中原因？

银行不给开证明——不会吧？我在中国的银行开过多次，中行的最好，最正规，实在不行找找人嘛，存款又不是假的。最好不要把存折寄过去，万一路上丢了，没人给你负责的。你去银行开过吗？——没开过怎么知道不好开？  :rolleyes:
