Don't be afraid to give blood donation here.  They have English pamphlets/forms, and the nurse/receptionist can speak English well.  And I find it's a good experience for me as a new immigrant.

Hema Quebec has "blood drive" that go to different parts of Quebec to collect blood.  You can check out their website http://www.hema-quebec.com/E/anglais.htm to learn more and see the time and place of coming blood drives.

I sent this message because I went to Champlain Mall in Brossard today to donate my "first-time blood" in Quebec/Canada.  I feel very happy but on the other hand would like to see more Chinese willing to donate their precious blood (a bit surprised to see I am the only Chinese for that since there are many Chinese living in south shore, mainly in Brossard)
