1)Is it easy to rent an apartment in Montreal without job? In Toronto, when you apply for renting, you are asked to supply this and that(Job reference, bank info,.garantor, ...), something like be treated as a criminal suspect. Does this happen in Montreal?

2)If somebody doesn't know French, and even his English is so so, any problem to find a general labour job?
