公司里好象不需要精算理论很深的学者吧（特别是刚参加工作的），很多东西都是已经定型的了，拿来用就可以了。很多学精算的，在这里都没有找到工作；而在国内，一个保险公司，几个精算师就够了。

Don't stay in Quebec unless you can communicate well in French. Otherwise you just make your life miserable. Job perspect is very bad and opportunity is limited for anglophone. I have been to Calgary, there things are much better. You only have English to deal with. If you have chance I advise you to go University of Calgary or University of Alberta, don't stay in Montreal or you will make the same mistake as I did.

Also go to University of Waterloo, not Concordia. What can you do after graduate from Concordia, can you get a job in Quebec? do you speak French? Are you billigual? Go to Ontario or Calgary now until it is too late.
