现正在国内读在职的博士，但移民有希望了，不知道还有没有必要再读下去，本来读的也艰难，听说生活在那里，北美的学位就很重要，所以更是迷茫了，我知道这个决定还是需根据各人情况而定，可还是想听听有经验的人的意见，请大家指点一二。谢谢了。

如果你想今后有个博士的虚名套在脖子上也读。
如果读得挺苦年岁也不小且准备出来重新学习
然后就业那就不如不读。

It is difficult for this case. This is because you may definitely prefer to live abroad, whatever the future is. Furthermore, PhD in China really worth nothing, there are so many PhD in China everywhere.

Here in North America,if you have PhD, it means you have more chances to do some research work, but not necessarily.

I have no Doctor degree, but I have many collegues who have PhD. It is very easy to check the HR information from websites, there are  many PhD working at various companies. (Except these internet or softerware companies)

At this moment,it's difficult to find a job in Canada, but it may be eaiser to find a research work(post-doc) if you have PhD. Then, you can gain some canadian experience for possible future work.

如果刚读几个月,就放弃,
如果到你登陆,还有一年就毕业了,就坚持住了.
加拿大就业形势不好是有目共睹的,HANS1963说的对,找post-PHD还是比较容易的,运气好,有的研究所工资待遇也不低.
来加拿大申请博士的话,也挺费时间的.一般要5年才能毕业.
