As to my opinion, they will not allow you to take the test. What they want is to earn money. If you don't let them earn money, you can think about the result.Anyway, you can try. Hope you good luck.

Maybe you should be more patient, try to check them frequently, and try to improve your English as well. English is absolutely important, whether you will take the test or not!

I've got the offer of next January, M.Eng., and was asked to take english test first. My Toefl is 573, does it make sense? Any help for my english test or courses? Thanks a lot, everybody!

helentian, you cac argue with your advisor.you have taken the tofel test, and concordia university accept the tofel test in thier official bulletin (the minimum score is 550).
if there is discrimination, you can bring an accusation against your advisor.recently, concordia university always requires the applicants to take her entrance examination, altough the applicants have qualified tofel test score, it is unfair.

yes, if you took the Concordia's text first, you could not take toefl any more, because Concordia admissions are not accept that. they will tell you" sorry, we are not allowed you to take toefl since you took the celdt". I had this problem also, I am still fighting with them, I will take toefl anyway.

I spent two months to prepare TOEFL and got 243/5.0. I showed it to department secretary, however, I was asked to take the CELDT test. And I got 450/2. That means I need to take ESL 207. According computer science department, I can only choose only one course except ESL 207. I hate it!
