Same thing happened to me. That is the only accident, up to now, in which both of my skis were knocked off from boots. However, I was lucky. After I recalled my soul back into where it should stay and got it calm down, I can’t even figure out exactly where I was hit. There was no pain no where.

The snowboarder was nice. He set up a sign to direct away other skiers, helped to collect run away skis, and left only after I assured him I was OK.

After hit other skier, you should try to help instead of running away. You are not liable to this kind of accident in a ski resort, unless there are evidences which can prove you did it purposely.

好玩好玩，滑一次雪多少钱，要什么保护措施，要什么装备。。我都没玩过，，，高手们能不能带带我？。。。。。

不过安全第一。。。。所以第一次一定得跟随高手们。。。。。

I wish everybody a happy and safe ski season. Please remember the ski responsibility code:

- Always stay in control, and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects.
- People ahead of you have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.
- You must not stop where you obstruct a trail, or are not visible from above.
- Whenever starting downhill or merging into a trail, look uphill and yield to others.
- Always use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
- Observe all posted signs and warnings.
- Prior to using any lift, you must have the knowledge and ability to load, ride and unload safely.

This is only a partial list. Be safety conscious. If you hit someone, don't run away... you could be charged by the law.
