曾在中国逗留可成为魁省居民吗?

需不需要12个月，你反正都已经回中国了，也改变不了了。经验只能供后来人参考。

现在确实两种说法都听到了，要想确证，还是查找法律条文吧。不过我也不知道哪里找。

在你提供的网页里，可以看到一些规定，loan&bunsary提供给quebec resident，可是如何才能算是quebec resident还是没有阐明。

我可是打算11月回加拿大啊，现在还没决定回哪个城市，如果象我这种特殊情况，呆3个月就可以成为魁省居民，我会认真靠虑选择Montreal的，所以请各位可以给我确切的答复，谢谢。

paul_ca,真的很抱歉,如果你的朋友有这方面的信息或经验的话,你不妨一试,也可以为后来者提供一个参考,因为好象没有人有这个经验,而且我听说(只是听说)有的学校对认定是否魁省学生还有差别,大家对申请助学金的资格有所了解,对如何认定魁省资格的问题,尤其像你这样的特殊情况好像还回答不了.愿意来MONTREAL就试试,也把经验提供给大家,祝你好运.

I have experienced a similar case. I returned to China for half-year living after my first one month living in Montreal in year 2000. but i got B/L after I had lived in Montreal for 3 months. I read the requirements for QC residentship carefully. it says "you must live in QC at least 3 months without living in other provinces of Canada over 3 months. China does not belong to Canada.
But you need to provide proof and to swear at the face of finance officer. good luck!

JohnZhang, I don't think you are in similar case. Because you lived in Montreal in the first month. Then you left for China and stayed about six months. At last you return Montreal, and it is sure you can get L/B. Although I guess in the case of paul_ca, he may be got L/B, you and he are not the same case. right?

我认为JohnZhang和paul_ca确不属一回事，JohnZhang走前是在蒙特利尔登陆和居住的，而paul_ca只在温哥华住过没有来过蒙特利尔。所以JohnZhang可以算魁省居民而paul不行。

I have the similiar situation, I landed in Toronto in March of 2000, after 2 weeks, I returned back to China. And then I arrived in Montreal on June 15th this year, when I plan to apply University, I did ask this question to the official "am I Quebec resident? if I live in Montreal for three months", the answen is YES. because the policy is "not live in other provinces IN CANADA for over three months", IN CANADA not in China. But I can not 100% sure I am right because I have not got my application accepted yet.
