山花, Don't misunderstand me. If you didn't get an interview (even no phone interview) for a job you were confident of, did you think of why? Did you show your enthusiasm for the job and make yourself attractive to the hiring people?

I just read your latest post saying that you may take a contract position as your career start in spite of a lower salary. I agree. Most young graduates need luck and patience for the first professional job. Good luck!

Thank you for your suggestion. But I experienced different job search with yours.

I was ever confident of some positions, but I did not even get an phone interview from that company. I was ever not confident of some positions, but I got an phone and on-site interview.

There is a conflict. Your suggestion is not fit to me. Anyway, thank you again.

Good suggestion. Besides of the education and experience, I should show my enthusiasm to the position I am applying for. Thank you again.

刚收到两封信。

一封来自公司，在线看了简历，对我感兴趣，要我发简历过去。不过我觉得职位不是我感兴趣的，犹豫一会而，还是发了。拒绝想太多，多一次面试机会也好。

还有一封来自 Agent，也是要简历，职位非常感兴趣，本想马上打电话，但不行，还要看书，因为明天有一个 phone interview. 明天的面试是兴趣之一，但是没有直接工作经验，不只结果如何。但无论如何，总要按照 Orient 讲的办法试一下，试了才有可能，不试永远没有机会。

又收到这个 Agent 的信。 非常着急想和我沟通，坚持在发我的CV给公司前和我谈5分钟，任何时间都可以。 我猜是不相信我的英语，所以直接打过去，果然没有太重要的事。

问我： 是否有其它 Interview？
Answer： Yes

Q: Are you going to take the interview if you get an offer from another one?
A: Of course. I wish I will get two or more offers. So I can compare the salary and position.

Q: What is your expected salary?
A: 我直接报了数字，和 agent 说话懒得扭扭捏捏。听口气，我的数字好像在他接受的范围类。

最后他希望公司在和我联系后，我马上和他联系，他好 follow up.

面试有点紧张，面试感觉不好也不坏。心里素质有待于再加强。

这一次，我按照Orient建议的先问：
How many questions are you going to ask me?
对方没有正面回答，只说针对简历 提问。

对方居然没问任何技术问题，全针对简历提问，没有答不出的问题。

还有一点感觉对方技术可能知道的不多，有一个在这个领域很出名的奖项居然不知道，不知对我是好是坏？我给他解释后，他还说： interesting, this is my first time to lisen to it.:confused:

快结束时，对方问我简历上有什么需补充的？我针对工作所要求的addition skills，解释我拥有的他没有问道的知识和经验。

最后我看时间快到了，我问了一个 Orient 教的问题。等他回答完，刚好时间过了一分钟。

面试前5分钟，又一个 agent 打电话过来，我解释了原因，让她1个小时后打过来，也许电话快来了。


最近好像电话面试激增，是我的幸运段。 感谢主！
