Hi, I am asking some questions:

1. If the 2nd letter says the interview will be after 7-10month since Feb,2003, can I estimate the interview will be hold before May,2004?

2. Once I take the interview,can I expect I will landing 1 or 2 months after interview?

3. Is it easy for international student in Canada to apply visa to U.S.A because of reason of interview. My international student office already warn chinese student and tell us that most of students are rejected due to this reason, and the U.S.A require student apply visa in China. Is this true? How do you deal with it.

I am in the edge of crazy for just waiting immigration. I can not find job and I already finished my study. If it will still take 2 years, I will consider to go back to china for job. I can not affort spend all my young time to do labour work for landing (because I am international student and have no right to do even higher paid labour work).

You must know that every case is different, so nobody can give you answer. Some people can get their LP in half a year, some may take 3 years or more.

So it seems that those questions are quite stupid and nobody wants to reply.

I am just too warm-hearted to tell you the truth.

For Ka000ka2003,

I understand your feeling, since we are "in the same boat". In your case, I estimate the interview will be scheduled in mid-2004. Actually, this estimation is also for myself: I got my second letter in Jan.2003 and have to wait for transfering the application package to New York and the stupid interview (similar as your situation, I think).

Is it worth waiting here for the landing paper? It depends on your own choice. It's nonsense to compare the life here with that in China.
