其实价格差个十块八块的没必要为此多跑腿儿，时间更值钱！还是哪儿方便去哪儿买好。还有，如果你对电脑比较在行，网上购物是个很好的选择，我有不少自己用的配件都是从网上买的。

巧了,这几天,我也在琢磨这件事呢,我理想中的机器,大多配置和你要购买的差不多,另外,有几点想法交流一下:
1, CPU超频,从Pentium90 开始玩超频,对超频的看法有过几次波动,我现在的想法是:如果不是以此为乐,有大把时间的话,还是别动他,什么软跳线,硬跳线,改电压,换风扇阿,有点烦
2, CPU,只要是支持超线程的就行,2.6还是2.8的对机器整体性能影响不大.在这上面多花钱.......当然,有闲钱CPU是越高越好
2, 主板我基本选定华硕P4P800 或DELUXE,我看看网上的评价,基本还是正面的,JavaBoy 朋友说的关闭正常程序的问题,由主板造成的可能性好像不大.
3,显卡,我基本选定Asus FX5200 128M DDR 8XAGP
4,硬盘,非常希望是8M缓存的,个人感觉,8M缓存对文件存取性能确实有点提高.
5,我看过几家中国电脑店的报价,配置,但是没有看到C&C朋友的,因为我想直接到他店里去问的 , 感觉是http://www.superpc.net/zjbj/System.asp这个页面上的配置表做的比较"专业",看了就知道这是个行家配出来的东东.
6.Super PC选用的那种Alteclansing 121 Subwoofer Speaker是什么样的阿?哪位朋友用过,给点建议.
7,机箱,我看蒙城各家公司用的就是那么几种机箱吧,选个老板说电源没问题,颜色顺眼的就行了.

Just my 2 cents:

OS: One main reason that I want to DIY is that I would like to install Linux rather than Windows XP SP1. And to save a few bucks from it :-) Are there any friends who also like Linux? I am not a hardware guy. But I use Linux everyday.

OverClocking: I am not fancy about it. But I would like to buy a CPU which is at the endpoint of the flat part of the price curve of all CPUs. Right now it is P4 2.6G. Later it may be P4 2.8G. It is not quite reasonable to replace a CPU later on. So get the best that you can afford. The same reason applies also to motherboard and any other part that will not likely be replaced. For us poor guys, upgrade usually means "add" not "replace". Needless to say, you cannot add another motherboard, though you may add another CPU in some rare cases.

Hyper-threading: I think this feature needs support from OS. Linux kernel 2.6 will handle it gracefully. How about Windows?

RAID: I think raid 0 is ok if you really want to increase performance. Raid 1 is not quite important for home use. If you really need data reliability, raid 5 is more cost-effective. In Linux, we can use software Raid 5. I don't know if it is possible with Windows.

Video: I'm not a game boy any more. So integrated AGP8x should be sufficient for me. However, with Asus P4P800-DX, it seems that I have to buy a graphic card. Right? How about a card with TV tuner? So you can watch sports in PC while your wife watching soaps in TV.

Sound: I'm interested in computer music. Actually, I write songs myself. Any friends with the same hobby? Even though, the integrated 6 channels should be enough. Right? How about a sound card with support for synthesizer?

I agree to Olddog. If you have similar ideas, we can design  a configuration together and buy together. Hopefully, we can support our chinese stores as well ^_^

我不是特别确定,但是我的操作系统从WINDOWS 2000 SERVER 换到XP,再换到WINDOWS 2000 PROFESSIONAL,情况没有太多的变化.关闭正常程序仍然发生.哪位朋友能给提点建议.所有该答的补丁都打了,该升级的我都升了.
