Be careful, everyone!!

My friend received a message over Xmas, which is a virus! It is a merry Christmas message, when you open it, it will shut down computer in 10 seconds, if restart the computer, it will shut down the computer again.

Anyone knows it? how serious it is? any software can remove it?
