Hi,

After I installl ENL832 network card, win2000 create local area connection with a red cross.
My network card did not work.Can anybody help me

你提供的信息过于简单了。
可否再详细一点。例如你凭什么判断你得network card不工作？
你在ms-dos下ping localhost
如果可以通的话，网卡应该是没问题的。
那个red cross当你在没有接网线的时候就会发生。
检查一下你的网线接口和cable modem状态。

Hi,

My network card driver has win2000 version.
I installed the driver according manual.Win2000
create local area connection , but has red cross.
From win help, that sign means media disconnected.
I checked all cable and card.all are ok. Win200 connect to another pc (win98). In win98, all are fine

你的红x应该是在表的旁边吧。你的机器不再网络就有红x，和其他机器连上就没了。如果没安装好，在设备管理器里应该是叹号或问号。

I try to use ipconfig/all. My physical address
id FF FF FF FF FF FF. What is going on?
Device manager is fine. Network card has normal green light when plug on cable.

Hi,

I bought cross over cable from superPC(already tested). The cable connect two Pcs. one run win2000. Another run win98. win98 is ok for connection.But win2000 is not.
