As for the quote, I have no interest to say anything about right or wrong. Zai4 Xia4 just have one simple question to ask: WHY? And, I don't think "No reason" qualifies an answer.

My statement reflected something I observed and learned so far in my life. There is no way to prove it (unless all the men in this world make a vote), as there is no way to prove otherwise.

For starters, women (not any single one, but as a whole group) did not do too much, throughout the history, to deserve enough sincere respect from men. One can not ASK FOR respect. One has to do something to gain respect, and potentially die for it. Being a housewife, or supporting your men on the back, are adorable and loveable, but sorry, not that respectful. Don't get me wrong, women DO make great devotions to man kind - their hard labor gives birth to all the men in the first place! But again, prove this is resepctful rather than a natural ability.

It is not fair to compare men and women in that aspect, as women are somehow disadvantaged. but sorry, we are talking about reality. and reality does not care.

Men love women, but not necessarily respect them.

by the way, as funny as it might sound, i think i am not a sexist. i love women and have always been a feminist and wished women to gain their due respect, which, in my opinion, has only been hypocritically delivered from men, so far, to cheat women into believing they get some respect.

Open your eyes and look around, who is the master of this world? Man or woman? and you think the stronger respect the weak? - it is not even logical.

所谓西方女人不嫁中国男人，是因为不是什么样的中国男人都能吸引人家的注意。相反，当她们想嫁的时候，有几个中国男人愿意娶呢？

中国男人，可以说尤其是成功人士，有几个不是传统的？有几个是那种完全西化，和白人行为思想完全一致的呢？试问这样的男性，有几个能接受女权主义熏陶出来的西方女性。好奇心恐怕不少人有，所以一时的激情和浪漫是很有可能的，但是娶回家当老婆，而且夫妻一起生活几十年，恐怕对很多人来说很困难。

这个世界是物质的，也是现实的。不管什么样的女性选择配偶，绝对会首选各方面都比较成功的男士。广大华人出国打拼，本来能生存下来就已经相当不容易，想在白人堆里再出人头地，那是相当的困难。而那些真正能够成功的华人男性，往往也不会缺少异国风情的诱惑。至少我的美国亲戚和他的几个同学，当年都没少过这样的诱惑。所谓中国女人不愁嫁也是很片面的。西方女人如果嫌中国男人不够帅不够性感；那么又有几个中国女人能够符合西方男人的审美观点呢？首先一个身材标准估计就淘汰绝大部分了。之所以有西方男人愿意娶中国女人，原因太多了，我不想累述，只请大家按照中国人的门当户对标准来看看，大家觉得真正般配的能有多少？十分之一，还是二十分之一……
