“2009年9月5日（星期六）第十屆唐人街清潔日”活動，第二次義工招集公告
各位熱心公益的朋友，
滿城華人服務中心義工部舉辦的 “2009年第十屆唐人街清潔日”活動，
將於2009年9月5日，星期六 ，在滿市唐人街中山公園舉行。
本次清潔日將把不同年齡及文化的人士聯合起來，加強老中青三代間加強聯絡溝通，為同一目標工作，
促進所屬社區保持清潔及增強不同社區之間的交流及聯繫。
除了各位贊助者的經濟支持外，我們也非常需要各位熱心公益的朋友提供義工服務才可以順利地舉行本次活動。
以下為當日需要義工們協助的各崗位（* 此為各崗位所需要的人數，同一人可擔任不同崗位），如果您（或是您的朋友）有興趣，請盡快與我們取得聯繫。

“唐人街清潔日”： 2009年9月5日， 星期六（ 上午10-下午3點）
活動前預備 （上午8:00 開始）
1）物品運送 （8人）
在活動前後，把所有需要的用品、佈置、器材等運往中山公園和送回中心。
2） 場地佈置 （10 人）
在活動前，負責移動椅子和桌子、佈置、接駁電腦/麥克風、音響設備等。
3） 活動指導 （4人- 上午9:00 開始）
為來賓、VIP或特別人物等指導座位。
活動進行間 （上午10時開始）
1)清潔大行動團隊：100名義工
在活動開幕儀式后，在各個社團在中山公園表演文藝節目宣傳本次活動主題的同時，
利用市政府及中心提供的清潔用具清潔整個唐人街區域，過程約為1.5小時。
各位義工將會被分組負責清潔不同的街區。
活動的意義在於傳達給大眾一個象徵性的信息 -----“愛惜我們華人共同的社區”。
2）主持人（2人，國語/法語）
負責國語或法語講詞部分，必須說流利國語或法語。
3）音響系統 （2人）
負責背景音樂的播放。
4）藝術表演團隊 （不限）
不論任何特殊技能或專長，我們都歡迎您為我們的活動作宣傳表演 （每節為10-15分鐘）。
5） 攝影人員 （2-3人）
在整個活動期間為來賓和參加者照相。自備器材者為佳。
6） 接待處 （4-6 人）
根據參加者名單為他們作記錄、分組及派發活動場刊/ t-shirt。
活動後
1） 會場清理 （10人）
在活動後，把所有用品、佈置和器材等送回中心。
2）物品運送 （5人）
在活動前後，把所有需要的用品、佈置、器材等運往中山公園和送回中心。有車者為佳。
3） 餐飲部 （5人）
預備分發飲料及食物。

Hello Volunteers,
The “10th edition Clean-up Chinatown.” will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2009, at Park Sun Yat Sen in Montreal Chinatown.
The event is to promote the neighborhood care for Chinatown among citizens, to strengthen the bond between different Chinese generations in Montreal,
and to promote mutual appreciation and admiration between the Chinese and the greater Montreal community.
In addition to the financial support of our sponsors, we also need A LOT OF VOLUNTEER to help us before, during and after the activity..
Please see below the brief description of each activity and requirement for the volunteers.
Keep in mind that both activities require volunteers’ help before and after of the events.
If you are interested (or your friend) please let us know as soon as possible so we can start our planning.
The most important things is to let us know your availability and if you have any special skills that can be assign to a specific team,
but general help is also very important. Once we receive all the replies we will assign task according to your availability.
The following list is all the positions that require volunteers to fill in. If anyone of you will be free and interested to help,

** This is the number of people required for each position, the same person can play different role before, during and after the ceremony.
“10th edition Clean-up Chinatown Campaign”, Saturday, September 5, 2009
Pre-show (from 8am):
1) Delivery (8ppl)
Before and after the activity, we need volunteers to transport all necessary material to Park Sun Yat Sen and back to the Center.
Those who have cars are preferable.
2) The venue (10ppl)
Before the activity, we need volunteers to set up chairs and tables; connect the computer/microphone; preparation the award section.
3) Guide (4ppl- from 9am)
To guide all guests and invitees to pre-assigned seats.
During the event:
1)Clean-up team (100 ppl)
Using the tools provided by the municipal government and the Center to clean up the Chinatown area.
The process is about 1.5 hours long. Volunteers will be divided in teams and each is responsible for a specific area.
The main purpose of the activity is to promote to the public the significant message of caring our Chinese community.
"Clean up Chinatown" is only a symbolic event.
2)Master of Ceremony (2 ppl, Mandarin/ French)
To host the activity. Necessary to speak fluent Mandarin OR French.
3)Sound system operator (2 ppl)
Responsible for the operation of the sound system and the background music playing.
4)Performance team
We welcome all with talented skills to perform during the day (each session of 10-15 min long).
5)Photographer (2-3 ppl)
To take pictures for the guests, VIPs and participants. Those who have their own equipment are preferable.
6)Reception (4-6 ppl)
To greet all invitees and to distribute event booklet and t-shirt to our participants.
After the event
1)Site clean-up (10 ppl)
After the event, clean up the site and transport all the supplies and equipment back to the Center.
2)Delivery (5 ppl)
Before and after the activity, we need volunteers to transport all necessary material to park SUN YI XIAN
and back to the Center. Those who have cars are preferable.
3)Food and Beverage (5 ppl)
Prepare food and beverage for all during the event.
