大家常说的钓鱼的好去处Lachine的灯塔，是不是Deliglise路与Canal交叉的地方啊？今天去看了，怎么没一个人钓鱼啊，另外Montreal岛附近水域没有禁渔的地方吧？
PS：已经知道了那个地方不是Lachine的灯塔，这次知道灯塔的具体位置了，不过另外一个问题，在Canal里钓鱼不违法吧？新手在选择钓鱼地点的时候有什么要注意的啊？

禁渔是一个宽泛的说法，包括禁渔时间，区域和鱼种。就是说，在不同的时间和区间段对不同的鱼种有特殊的法律禁钓规定（具体详查楼下帖中官方网站）。

另外关于禁渔的另一个不规范解读：就是禁拿！似乎是法律漏洞。即，可以去钓，但钓着后不KEEP。。。所以岸上掷竿把钓者络绎不绝。。。

WALLEYE禁渔期，老港岛尖有一段经典对话发人深省，分享给新上岸渔夫：
警察哥哥问：Sir，你在钓什么鱼啊？
渔夫哥哥答：猫鱼，Sir！
警察哥哥：...（无语）
渔夫哥哥：（继续JIG）...

某周末正在老港垂钓，二个渔警哥哥匆匆向我走来，还没有走到身边，相互说了一句法语没有听懂，又快步直奔岛尖，，，
后来听说，某渔夫由于钓上的多利超过了规定之数，尽管其桶内存鱼在规定数量之内，但由于送人若干，加在一起超过限额，被开罚单。
或许你会问，渔警哥哥怎知道此情况？
答曰:岛尖对岸高楼的观测器早已设置多年。

又：南岸SIMARD公园，水流已经上涨，鱼儿上钩开始频繁，（有两磅左右的鳗鱼，也有不少鲶鱼），但鲤鱼还没有照面。

星期三去甩了半个小时，无收获。后换蚯蚓老鲶一条。不知道有没有常去的渔友知道是靠游艇俱乐部那边好还是反方向鱼情较好？

今天终于有进展了，看来钓鱼选地点很关键，下午去Lashine的运河钓了两个小时就上了若干条Perch，还有一个Rock Bass，虽然都很小，也不能拿走，但是能钓到鱼的感觉真不错。还有早晨看到一个鱼友，就在我若干天不咬钩的地方，刚下钩几秒钟就上了一个大Pike，羡慕一下，我还以为Verdun这里没有鱼呢，看来还是运气的问题。

今天摘花玩儿，有两个重要收获：
1，摘得白花，
2，1朵大黑花，1LB13”

当众花花在水槽中鲜活游泳的时候，第一次偶然意识到白花的存在，值得岸上记录。稍后补充“鱼种介绍”一下白花和黑花的区别。

Black and White Crappie



The black crappie and white crappie are quite similiar in appearance but after you see a few of each species they are quite easy to tell appart. They both or of similiar color and shape but the white crappie is a bit more greenish and the black crappie is a bit more compressed.

The easiest way to differentiate between the two, however; is the markings on their sides. The white crappie will have the black marking on its side arranged in a few verticle bars. The black crappie however has his black arranged in a random manner forming no pattern at all.

Another way is that the each crappie species has a different number of dorsal spines. Black crappie have 7-8 dorsal spines, while the white crappie has 5-6 spines.

Crappie are schooling predatory fish that feed mainly on smaller fish.
