Commissioner of Oaths
The Citizens’ Office offers a Commissioner of Oaths service to all City of Montréal residents. The following rates are in effect:

• For residents of the City of Montréal who have a valid carte-loisirs: the service is free;
  
• For residents of the City of Montréal without the carte-loisirs de Saint-Laurent: $3 per service;
  
• For non-residents of the City of Montréal residents: $5 per service.
  

Moreover, use of this service is limited to five times per day.

Important: the person who makes a sworn declaration must be present and provide proof of residence as well as two official pieces of identification with signature and at least one photograph.
