今天下午5点半到6点半之间，在Arthur-Lismer and L’acadie交界处（close Sauve street），发生一起重大交通事故。据说，一中年妇女，从bus station下车后，直穿马路回家，在对面被 truck 撞了，当场死亡。本人看了现场。实际上，只要多花2-3分钟，就能从红绿处过马路。事实上，本人也常犯同样的错误，为了早点回家作饭，照顾孩子等等。我到现在还很难受。希望大家都要主意安全，一定要遵守交通规则。今晚新闻有播。<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o:p></o:p>

If the traffic is light and there is no police around to stop you,

I am no angel. I also jaywalk.

I look left and right to make sure that it is safe before crossing.

just in front of a church near Peel street.
He probably did the same thing every morning many, many times before.
On that day, he dropped his briefcase, so he stepped back and picked it up.
Right in that moment, a taxi hit him.
