They are not guilty in their case.

Here I want to ask you a question. if the landlord say he need to increase the tax because of increased housing tax, it is reasonable? should I have to accept it? if I want to refuse him, what should I can do now?

sorry, the landlord want to increase "my rent fee"  not the "tax".

偶然之间又看到了这个去年的帖子，我非常想知道这对夫妇的现状和案子的最终结果。
不管结果如何，希望这对夫妇顺利快乐，不要因为这件事情影响他们的未来。打官司并不可怕，重要的是信心和证据。可能我们国人的个性原因，很怕打官司，不想惹麻烦，这造成某些情况下受到其他族裔的欺扰，我们应当团结起来，相信华人在魁省的明天会比今天更好！
