what about a Permanent Resident married with a Citizen, the PR still need to live in canada for 3 years for the Citizenship application????

Is that possible that the 3 years prison period could be shorter?

You can keep your PR even though you are live in China if your spouse is Canadian Citizen ahd he is accompanying you.  I think it is best way.  You do not need to live in Canada for three years within five year period to keep your PR valid.  However, there is no way to speed up your application to be a Canadian Citizen.  I think the best idea is to keep your PR instead of becoming Canadian Citizen
