it seems not the happy time to do that. currently, as i know, there are several cases got the rejection letter / seal. also, the consulate agent suggest that the people applying the visa at China except the ugent case.

my parents got us visa two years ago and they did not have any problem for the visa since they are too old to attempt to stay there. however, they must apply for visa in china instead of in canada as my relatives got rejection of their application in toronto. thinking in this way, if you will to spend several thousands dollar in few weeks, who will reject your visiting? you are the king. otherwise, you are actually lucky since you will save lots of money if you could not make this trip. anyhow, wish you have a good trip.

父母探亲 9个月的来回程机票（2005/9/11-- 2006/5/31），美国迪特律转机。
在国内申请的美国过境签证，2次过境，来时使用了1次。
但是，签证注明的有效期只有6个月（2005/9/2-- 2006/3/1），请问回程是否需要再办一次过境签证。
这个有效期是指两次都必须在这期间，还是第一次过境的时间？
如果需要再申请一次过境签证，能否在蒙特利尔办，还是要将材料寄回中国申请？

另外，如果以我为主申请一起申请美国旅游签证，可否有希望？
但是他们拿的是单次入境加拿大的签证，去美国旅游，可能回不了加拿大了。。。

请有经验的人指点， 多谢大家。。。

可以申请，不少人签成，但申请率不知是多少，最好问一下美国使馆，不同的办事员不同的心情不同的观点可能都能给出不同的签证，不试不知道
