I tend to agree with blueflame. A garage may be nice to you but bad to others. All small garages are doing business without consistence. The important things are luck and relationship. Because business needs loyalty. You can try from trival things luck oil change, if you find the garage is nice, care, you can go more often. Sometimes, respect plus luck, you can find a good garage like blueflame did.
Of course, a good reputated garage should be first choice. I remembered a guy (De L'Eglise?) broke a spark plug, he seemed unlucky, but he finally found a old man's garage near verdun. The old man repair his car, since then, he trust that garage and goes to there.
