隆重再顶一下scores，8.95的套餐有一个整鸡腿、炸薯条，沙拉吧任食。沙拉吧有蔬菜、水果、汤什么的，非常超值。可以只先吃沙拉什么的，鸡腿薯条可以打包，嘿嘿。

scores 确实不错的说,不过每次尽量把自己的那份吃完,也确实不好意思带回去.

等不到特价, 需要去买菜。 :p 跑去 4001 St-Laurent 的葡萄牙店。
指定动作: $2.19/dozen extra large eggs, $1.15 super big loaf of rye bread, $0.29/lb of banana, etc.

Other choices for $6.99, $7.99. They mainly do take out, dining area is rather small and primitive(=not so nice).

隆重推荐王记，非常不错，尤其是青椒肉丝和尖椒肥肠，非常有国内家常菜的味道。

唐人街的推荐金丰楼下那家，没注意过名字，就是门口那家，一边是餐馆还有糕点、另外一边是烧腊的。推荐他家的双拼饭（自己可选，推荐烧鸡、烧鸭拼），5.5块1份，非常好吃。

还有就是来mtl这么多年，从来没改变过印象的师傅面，他家的椒盐猪扒饭是我心目中的mtl第一。以前6.5一份，现在估计太有名了，已经涨到6.95一份了。

我看你最后又说面食，不知道montreal这边那里面做的最好，狂想吃面，因为来的时间不长，目前只去过中国城和catheren那条街

I haven't talked much about Chinatown as there are many choices below $10. I envy those of u who have big enough group/family to order #和菜, many choices for ~$8 or more/person.

酸辣汤不错, 也比唐人街的大碗！上次吃的西兰牛肉饭(Broccoli & Beef, $5.95+TT) 好像不见了一半的牛肉

, 咖啡没有完全烧焦:p。上次两个人吃了$12.90+TT =>信用卡总共支付了$16.60。清洁的台布，大玻璃窗，安静的餐厅，算不错啦! :cool:

蒙城的冬季难受哦! 可能在你家附近，有类似的半中式餐馆。不是最好的食物，但比去唐人街方便！

In the old days, used to go to Jano for lunch with friends.  If the place's too packed, we go across the street for smoke meat plater.  Now, it becomes one of the classics in Montreal, too expensive.

If u walk north a bit, after u passed Schwartz's (Jewish Smoke Meat @ www.schwartzsdeli.com) U'll find Coco Rico, another old Portuguese grill place, BBQ Chicken, Ribs, Pork Chop.  Only small bench along one wall, Chicken is a bit small but the place is non-stop.  If u wonder about the taste of Portuguese Pork Chop Sandwich, this is the place to try.  Don't be surprised if u run into little old people like us :p , running in, pick up a chicken and a container of potato to go home with.

I always feel full after the salad bar (soup, salad, fruits). just ask for taking to go (only the food you order, not the salad bar). don't be shy. :wink:

i found Scores' lunch special is petty good, price about $8-$12 +TX, include soft drink/coffee/tea and 3 choices of dessert.

By the way, thanks for your post, i will look into it since I've not tried most of the restaurnat you recommended.

I will recommend Babie's. We often receive their coupon (buy one meal a la cart, the 2nd one is 99c or 1.99c) by mail. And they have some other specials such as kids eat free sunday night.

Their lunch special is quite good, price about $5.99-$8.99 inlude soup. Their food is good.

I also like their breakfast/brunch, again, with the coupon the 2nd meal will be half price.

There is one in dorval.

n年前, Baton Rouge的广告看多了, 决定去Decarie那家吃ribs。所有的朋友告诉我不要去。。。后悔啊。。。给朋友嘲笑了n年 :frown:
