大约5年前，我听到本一个电台讨论中国人吃狗肉的问题，一个老太太非常气愤地说：“狗再我的家里和我自己的儿子，女儿一样，我爱他，她也爱我。当我听到很多中国人吃狗肉时，我气愤以及。为什么他们这么对待狗。。。。。。。。“（大衣如此）。
    我当时非常气愤，我因为正在高速开车，否则我想去理论几句:每个民族有每个民族的文化；你本能用你的价值观来评定另一个民族。有的民族吃猪，牛，羊肉；中国人吃的狗和家里小小的宠物狗并非一个概念，据我所致，现在吃的都是专门饲养的肉狗，就和专门饲养的猪牛羊一样； 你不能用这个来评说另一民族的民族性。
   我想这就是文化冲突吧。

Per u guys, life is hard for immigrants, I'd say it's hard for locals also.  Chinese women love to say it's hard(not fair), I'd say it's harder for Chinese men, even harder for caucation male.  Caucation Male are the visible minority, ha ha!!

No typo, read the above sentence again, her husband did not exist, as he's rated after the dog.  It's a general phenomenon(=known fact) in North America, ha ha!!

我们绝对不应该主动谈论和夸大这个问题！！！
入乡随俗也好，尊重也好！！！但偏偏有国人自己找抽，我就在COFI班上碰到丫在讨论时说“大家相信吗？我吃过猫”，真恨不能代她老公扇丫个大嘴巴！害得全班国人跟丫受罪，语言不好，丫还显白！！！
不止一次被问过同样的问题，虽说每次偶都尽量解释，斗争到底！！！不过，偶的心都碎拉！！！ :frown:

另，总是有老外问我中国人如果生了女孩是不是都扔掉，要不然为什么那么多人领养中国的小女孩儿。为这事吵过好几回了，他们还总是振振有辞说电视上都这么说。

无所谓 中国人和他们根本就不是一个世界的人 或许根本就是从不同物种进化过来的
但是话又说回来 来这边以后 看到一些中国人素质确实很低 我要是外国人我也会很讨厌的

今天一个魁北克同事说中国人吃狗，还问我是否吃。本来很和协的工作气氛就这样被破坏掉了，其它的外国同事觉得中国很不可思义，连狗都吃。我真的很不理解啊，韩国人到了加拿大都不说自已吃狗，为什么中国人偏偏说这些。

我的同事也问过我这个问题.
我的回答是中国人吃的狗就象你们吃的牛一样,是在农场(farm)里面养的.不是吃的(pet).
我在中国也没见过那家餐厅说我卖的是京吧\藏熬.....的肉啊,吃的本来就是肉狗或者叫土狗
回答这样的问题我觉得第一不要有什么自卑的心理,文化本来就有很大的不同.
把中国的文化介绍给他们就可以了,他们不理解是很正常的.
但至少让他们知道这世界有很多和他们不一样的东西.这的一般人的知识面不感恭维.
我就告诉他们你们吃的牛在印度是没有人吃的,那里牛是神.他们也很诧异
