This year the exciting Olympic Game will be held in Beijing, China, also in 2010 Winter Olympics will be held in Canada Vancouver. In order to celebrate these two great events, as Chinese students in Montreal, we would like to share the Olympic spirit and our excitement with all international students by participating a “Beijing Olympics Run” in Ottawa on May 3 (Saturday), 2008, when the yearly Tulip Festival and the Asian Heritage Month are under-going simultaneously.

  

All international students in Montreal and friends or family  members are invited and are welcome to celebrate this great event with us. For your easy participation, we are planning the following Three in One Program.

  ·        Time:    May-3rd-2008 (Saturday), Leave Montreal for Ottawa at 11:00 am, and Leave Ottawa for Montreal at 6:00pm. Back to Montreal approximately at 8:30 in the evening. (same day return)

  ·        Place: Ottawa, Parliament Hill

   (1) Major Activity: Beijing Olympics Run and its Opening Ceremony

  

(2) Second Activity:  Asian Heritage Month programs

  

(3) Third Activity:     Tulip Festival  (free entrance)

  

Notes: We provide Free Commemorative Beijing Olympic game T-shirt for  every participant

  

             One free bottled water

  

            Free simple box meal for lunch


  

           Coupon for dinner (for Montreal Area)

  

          Free round-trip shuttle bus for participant, (return    to Montreal in the evening the same day)

“同一个世界,同一个梦想”

北京 –温哥华 奥运长跑

                           三大节目




今年,令人振奋的奥林匹克将在中国北京举行,而2010年,冬季奥运会将在加拿大温哥华举办.为了庆祝这两大盛会,在蒙特利尔的中国学生可以通过参加“迎北京奥运长跑”与所有的国际留学生一起分享奥林匹克精神和这一份激动. “迎北京奥运长跑”将与五月三号周六在渥太华举行.

此次奥运长跑由蒙特利尔和渥太华的各个中国学生协会共同举办.这次长跑是以宣扬奥运精神,加强文化交流,增进友谊,促进合作交流以及为世界和平做贡献为主要目的. “同一个世界,同一个梦想” 迎北京奥运长跑将会成为今年渥太华的郁金香节和亚洲传统月中的一大节目.

我们诚挚和热情的邀请所有在蒙特利尔的国际留学生与我们一起庆祝这一大盛事.为了方便大家方便参与,我们将以下三大节目归在一起.

·          时间:2008年五月三号星期六,早上11:00离开蒙特利尔启程去渥太华,当天下午6:00离开渥太华返回蒙特利尔.大概在晚上8:30左右到达蒙特利尔.

·          地点:渥太华, Parliament Hill

·          详细信息:

n  主要活动:迎北京奥运长跑和开幕仪式

Ø  起始时间:下午2:30

Ø  持续时间: 一个到一个半小时

Ø  距离: 长跑距离将会为1000m

Ø  目的: 庆祝即将到来的北京奥林匹克盛会以及温哥华冬季奥运会.



n  第二活动: 亚洲传统文化月

Ø  起始时间: 下午4:00 (暂定)

Ø  地点: Major’s Hill 公园

Ø  持续时间:最多不超过2小时

Ø  目的: 享受亚洲文化节目以及平常各种亚洲食物

(免费食物券将在入口处纷发)



n  第三活动: 郁金香节(免门票)

Ø 起始时间: 下午4:00(暂定)

Ø 地点: Major’s Hill 公园

Ø 持续时间:2小时

Ø 目的: 欣赏各种郁金香

    (第二和第三个活动将在同一地点举行,所有参与者不仅可以在Major’s Hill 公园了解更多亚洲文化,还可以欣赏盛开的郁金香)

n  免费水一瓶

n  免费午餐盒

n  晚上正餐券(仅蒙特利尔地区)

n  当天免费往返大巴

(下午4:00参加完长跑后,参加者可以自由活动.你们可以在Major’s Hill 公园观赏郁金香或者亚洲文化表演.回程大巴将在下午6:00准时将参与者送返蒙特利尔,大约当天晚上8:30可以抵达蒙.而想要自己回去的参与者将要自付回程费.)
