home daycare not better than working outside
Anybody can give a true reason how to make money with home daycare???:confused:

this is the high salary for the administrative positions in big daycare like CPE, I think, not the home daycare- where you are the boss, what you get is government finalcial support plus 7$ from parents according to how many children you have; That is why they need the parents to sign the attendance for each week /month.:rolleyes:
Or you as the boss, decide how many you charge from parents, but you need to make sure you can get children in your daycare.
Working in a 7$ daycare, I find no way to earn money w/ home daycare :
1: you need to get enough kids every month - not easy for home daycare, parents prefer CPE or big daycare;
2: seem unable to earn more than 30$/day for a child - 7$ plus government subvention seems less than 30$;
3: if w/out government support, you charge $30 or more, you cannot really get children in your daycare - parents really care the money they pay while there are other choice;
4: you need to work extra hours plus supplying snack and lunch - there are more cost than these;
5: if everything ok, the max income for home daycare is almost same as my working pay... and my salary is average, of course less than administrative position.
So any reason to open a home daycare???:confused:
Or maybe we all go together to open a facility with 30-50 places?
