ADVANC EACCOUNTING是考CGA里最重要的。

这位兄台:如果要考CGA,除了该十门课外加三门选修课之外,还需要如何修课才够呢?商科的课有哪些,在哪里修?你说的"对学分有严格限制"是什么意思,能具体解释一下么?是不是对课程的考试成绩也有要求呢? 谢谢!

Program Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.70 CGPA is required for entry into this program.
  
  
• Student should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.70 and have completed the following pre-requisite courses: MATH 208 (Linear algebra), MATH 209 (Calculus I), ECON 201 (Microeconomics), ECON 203 (Macroeconomics), DESC 200 (a computer literacy course), COMM 217 or ACCO 230 (Financial Accounting) and COMM 305 or ACCO 240 (Managerial Accounting). In addition a minimum B- average is required in the two math courses. If the applicant has completed ACCO 230, a minimum grade of C or better is required.
  Applicants, who have completed some or all of the pre-requisite courses including Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting at an institution other than Concordia, must submit courses descriptions/outlines, at the time of their application, in order for exemptions to be considered.
  

Important notes:

• A maximum of 12 credits earned in an incomplete degree or certificate program or as an Independent student may be transferred into this Certificate.
  
• Students who have no practical work experience in a business environment and have not taken any business courses in the past may have difficulty with the higher level courses.
  

N.B. Students with strong academic records are encouraged to apply, even if they are missing some of the profile requirements. This program may not be completed on a full-time basis, as such it is only open to Canadian citizens, landed immigrants or permanent residents of Canada.

This program is designed to provide interested candidates with an opportunity to earn a certificate while they are completing the educational requirements for a particular professional accounting designation (Chartered Accountant - CA, Certified General Accountant - CGA, Certified Management Accountant - CMA). This program is only open to Canadian Citizens, Landed Immigrants and Permanent Residents of Canada and cannot be competed on a full-time basis.

Career opportunities

Accountant; budget analyst; taxation specialist; treasurer; auditor, controller and fraud investigator.

Curriculum

Certificate in Accountancy — 30 credits

• ACCO 310 Intermediate Accounting I
  
• ACCO 320 Intermediate Accounting II
  
• ACCO 330 Cost and Management Accounting
  
• ACCO 340 Income Taxation in Canada
  
• ACCO 420 Advanced Financial Accounting
  
• ACCO 450 Financial Auditing
  
• + 12 additional credits from the offerings of the JMSB that are needed to satisfy the requirements of either the CA, CGA or CMA designations
  

Admission Requirements

Accountancy (Certificate) requirements: Minimum cut-off averages, admission statistics and program requirements.

Undergraduate admissions guidelines: For information on international admission, required documents, proof of language proficiency, the university admissions timetable, selection and notification process.

NOTE: This Certificate is intended for students with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, except for an undergraduate business degree with a major in Accountancy. It is not intended for students who have only completed CEGEP or high school studies, or for Mature students.

Due to course sequencing and pre-requisites, the Certificate in Accountancy program may not be completed on a full-time basis, as such it is only open to Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada who have already completed an undergraduate degree.

Students applying to the Certificate in Accountancy are strongly encouraged to obtain information on the educational requirements for the specific accounting designation (CA, CGA or CMA) that they intend on pursuing. Please visit the following websites for information:

大虾不敢当，菜鸟一个！
对我个人而言，两个项目没有任何区别，但是对于将来想考CA 的同志来讲，应当就读DIPLOMA。否则只能报考CGA或CMA。课程设置不了解，应该区别不大，但是考试通过率的要求不一样，这是听一个前辈说的，说的不对的请高人斧正。
