2. Dance Conmigo Monthly Party.
Studio Metronome (4557 St-Laurent, 3rd floor)
8pm-9pm: Beginner Intro class to West Coast Swing
    followed by general dancing til midnight!
  Room l (Amadeus) Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cha-Cha!
  Room ll (Bach)    a mix of everything! Waltz, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha,..., etc.

3. Dance-theque. Ballroom social dancing.
    6:30pm - 11:30pm
    7755 boul. St. Laurent, room 200A.
    Organized by Linda, Theo, Roland, Dominic.   
Free lesson by Linda from 6:30pm to 7pm.
    Followed by general dancing of Merengue, Bachata, Cha-Cha,  
    Mambo, Swing,..., etc.
    $6.  1 free bottle of water.
    Near Metro Station "De Castelnau".

- 75% ballroom social dance music,
- about 15% of line dance selections ( disco style, approx. 2 every 40 minutes )
- and salsas for the remaining 10%.

唯一的缺点就是有点远，但离我家近。

There's a new kid on the block! They  are trying to organize a social dance along the lines of "Just Dance" and  "Dance Conmigo". They would love some support this coming April 16th.  Parking at this location is quite good at night and the location is a stone's  throw from a metro station. If you take the 55 N from De Casteleau metro  station, it's probably about two stops North. Dominic has assured us that  there are only "a couple" of line dances played during the course of the  evening. The evening will start with a short lesson to help out beginner  dancers. It's also a great way to meet other dancers. The price is right! Please  pass the word on to fellow dancers this weekend -- if you like to dance in a  truly social atmosphere (in contrast to "couples only"), this is a great dance  to support. Hope to see you there!

五月份文化宫没有舞会，这里可能是不错的选择。

It seems to take place every two weeks.

无论男女，水平（舞厅中）中等或以上者，周六不用带舞伴。所说比例未能显示好玩及多样性。周5，6，7均不同比例，第一个周六和月尾的周六也大大不一样。更有季节，节假日的分别。是一个好dj。（不是很多，也去过几十次，自从doremi关门后）另外，除非人极多，不会有disco音乐。[color="Red"]规定不能穿牛仔裤进去line dance是根据很流行音乐（如ladygaga）编出来的，与强劲纯粹disco有区别。

好不好玩是见仁见智的问题。
音乐虽然无国界，但跟本地文化有关。
给出的资料来源于La Bamba 的网页，没做过具体调查。
据我所知，在doremi跳舞的80%有舞伴的。
