Dear Don Cherry,
I checked my cooling system again yesterday, and I found that the coolant went back to the spare plastic tank through a pipe on the other side of radiator. The fan was working fine.
Another problem, I have to press the gas peddle a bit when I start the car, it will stop otherwise. And the car shakes at beginning. Would you please give me some advice? I really appreciate your time.

我的车是pontiac Sunbird 1994(没空调)。去年换的水箱，水beng和timing-belt，换水beng后，开始出现这问题。现在非常频繁，大约5公里后就开始，升到90-100度后就会降回来，然后再升，非常烦心。
我打开车前盖，发现水从水箱上方的一条管子反回到备用水箱中。风扇工作正常，但当温度高时，没有热风。
我一去修车行，他们就说gasket，500元。我以被砍过几回。这次想问清再去。非常感谢你能给建议。
另外，最近车启动时，如果不给点油就站不住，还抖，不知道是什么问题？

Does it has not hot air before you change water pump, radiator,etc.
If not, then I think the problem (first one) is coming from the coolant was not
refilled properly, there is air-lock which blocks the water to circulate inside
coolant system. You can just go to a good garage and tell them you have
air lock inside the sysem, need reflush the coolant.

beside the air lock, are you sure they changed a good pump, radiator, which are
not blocked inside? Did they change the thermostat?

I suggest you to find good garage (Canadiantire is ok for these problems), ask
them to check/fix the water circulation problem first; If this not fix problem, ask
them check the water pump, radiator and thermostat.

For second question, wait until first problem fixed.
