车子跑的路长一些。 熄火后就打不着了，拧钥匙一点动静也没有，但各指示灯亮正常。等半个小时后， 车又可以打着了。可能因为太热。原以为是starter, 所以刚换了新的。但还是这样。不知哪位前辈能提些建议。 车子是Jetta 92。另有朋友认为可能是coil, 不知有没有道理。 多谢。

starter没供上电，和其它系统没关系，查线路吧。重点在继电器和连线。

谢谢哈尔滨南人， 我查了线路，看不出什么问题。只是不明白为什么车子跑的长一点就会打不着。短途就不会有这种情况。我觉得是车子太热了的原因，但不知会影响什么零件。的确想你说的。好像starter没被供上电， 但为什木过一会就好了。

1、将启动机的所有线路和关联继电器重新连接一次，注意继电器，有可能过热时吸合不完全，还有可能是线路因种种原因断掉，但因绝缘层的连接造成虚连，温度过高时，因温变断开，冷了又可以用了。
2、当故障发生时，用万用表在打火时测量点火线路，电到哪里断了，自然是故障所在。

另外启动时如听不到继电器的声音，继电器如果没坏，那就是继电器没有控制电，故障在继电器以前。

Don't worry about Fuel system. In your case, there is not cranking. You need
check the solenoid(it sitting on starter), starter  and Relay as Harbin Ren
suggested. Especially the relay.

You can buy a new relay($30) and install it. If the problem consistent.  You need
test the solenoid by listening if it can click (pushing the small gear). Do these:

In the engine compartment, find the 'starter' wire that goes to the solenoid. Follow the wire up towards the engine firewall. You will eventually find a 'connector'.... disconnect that connector and using a jumper wire from the battery 'positive'.

if you it can click and start the car, then it is because relay circuit (hard to fix)
if not click sound, then solenoid is sticking when hot, change start or solenoid.
if it clicks, but starter doesn't crank, there is no enough current from battery, try
to jump the car using your friend's car, if it starts, then check battery wires.
