Site: Place Jean Drapeau, close to Biosphere museum.
Outside Jean Drapeau metro station.

Schedule: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
July 13 and 14, 2013

FREE activity.

The San Tropez dance school invites the entire population to come and learn the rudiments of Latin dances (salsa, merengue, bachata and cha cha) in an ambiance that's festive and caliente (torrid).

What is gumboot dance?

在距离地面3000米的井下工作的矿工，要穿长筒的橡胶靴。橡胶靴成了南非矿工的特征。南非的矿工中有一种独特的橡胶靴舞。穿着橡胶靴的矿工不时拍打脚上的橡胶靴，很有特点。
