Their food is authentic French, normally quite good. Price is average, i.e. pricey as most other French resturants. Bad neighbourhood that I'll NEVER take any friend there, nor walk around there at night.
Go to "? Paris" in downtown, on St. Catherine, 1.5 block west of Guy. Else go to Jardin Nelson suggested by 饕餮, he/she is pretty good with food.

Thanks for the advice. I've worked in that neighbourhood (for the Quebec gov't) for three years and have had no bad experiences. There happen to be a lot of government buildings in that area in addition to the other less savoury parts.
Good friend of mine worked in the neighbourhood for 30 years, also refuse to go there at night. Daytime is fine. Old people like us are too scared to walk there at night! Definitely not parking our car there neither.
