You know the Chinese proverb: out of the positions, out of the duties.              

Well, my personal opinion is: the simpler, the better. Just get a couple of responsible participants as the orginizers, or as the acting committee, or as the president and secretary or whatever, to arrange the the weekly or bi-weekly activities. As for the possible internal monthly or quarterly competition if there is intended to have any, only a few volunteers are required to get involved.

For the sake of the stability, I agree with Billding's that the "mandate" should not be too short.

其实主席们也就是人民的勤务员,大家提提,选选.选上的就不要推辞了,都是自己人.有空的任期长点,多连几任;没空的短点.离任时,大家鼓鼓掌,做的好的大家一起买点纪念品表示感谢(弄个万民伞什么的).

It's exciting to have seen so many messages. Good for us and thanks all. However doing once is better than talking 100 times. Now let's all together come to make our bridge activity more enjoyable, more fun!

In the list of Charlie, I think we need add peoples like Billding, Chinastory, Iebuz.  We would also add xiexie, Kannyxu, Frankwang, Li1, Li2, and so on. Let's talk the details next sunday regarding who like to be listed?

For the period of each president (or director), of course it'll be very welcome if he wants to take longer. To expand our family, and as I see now that it isn't easy for a new comer to join us, since all the players are playing and no time to help him. I think we need add another functionality for the president: Representing the family to give any new comer a warm welcome, introduce him all our family members and help him to find a partner. This will be a huge job and it's better for all of us to share it, else the
president will feel tired and want to retire earlier.

In the next sunday, let's talk more about how to share the work. For example, one method we can use is: Make a list of candidates; if we have 26, then each will take 2 weeks, if 13, then each 4 weeks, if 6 then each 2 months. If only 3 then I will give up. If we have 13, then we would make 13 number from one to 13 and let's draw lots: 0ne for first 4 weeks, 2 for second and so on.   ......

由于工作关系,我以前不曾常参加周日的活动.现打算投入组织怀抱,积极参加桥运.
