I guess "land only" means fees occured on the land, which should not includes flight from CA to Europe...
How about the camping tours? like 21days ask for ?909. If travel by ourselves, should be cheaper! According to my camping experiences, it is not difficult at all and is the cheapest way to travel during summer. But strong phisical force is required of course.
sure.Mont-tremblant and Mauricie Park have wonderful camping sites during summer. And last summer, we four friends traveled east canada to New Brunswick,PEI,novia scotia... camping all the places!
You can find camping is much easier than you thought in Canada; the most important, it is the cheapest!
For this summer,I'd like to try camping in America or Europe.
*land only* means, you need to bring yourself to the city where the trip starts and you need to bring yourself back from the city where the trip ends from Montreal.
I traved 10 countries in Europe for a month in 2001, the whole May, Now I know how to save money through wasting lots of money.
Here are some tips. If you guys think they are helpful, I am glad to tell you more.
1. Book round trip tickets through Internet. Now it is only 600C$ per adult.
2. Rent a car from a Budget liaison in Canada. Only 23C$ per day for a small capact car fits for three people and luggage.
3. Live in self-check-in Hotel like Fomula1 or Etap. Now about 30EUR per room per night fits for three adults.
4. Buy a lonelyplanet Western Europe volume and plan your trip well in advance.
