All the information is on the canada embassy in china (Beijing, Shanghai, etc). You can also look at this topic in Sinoquebec for reference.

If you 明年2月才登陆，it is better to apply for your parents at least half a year later. Otherwise, no hope for success.

To lemonaid_168:

If you have a "reasonable" reason, it is better to tell. If you donot have, you donot need "specially" explain the reason why only one of your parents coming here. But you have to let the officer know that issue. Only one of your parents coming can make officer believe that he/she will have to go back in time.Good luck!

我想申请我的父亲来，但是在准备材料的过程中，我老公被layoff了。不知道申请人配偶的emplyee letter是否必须？象这样情况怎么办呢？谢谢
