Hello Friends,

   I have been here for 7 years. I have to say, it's not about Canada, It's about yourself.
   No matter if you are happy or not, Canada will not change. But you can change, and that's the only thing you can change.
   China has so different social systems so it's really hard for Chinese immigrants to adapt. But your real character, your ego will reflect to the hard time.
   Live with it or die with it. I believe one thing--if you live here for long enough, you will do something for sure. You will become something for sure. We make something because we want to make ourselves.

   Smile, friends. Our collective social system makes us vulnerable to the social changes. But we need to fight from here. From the day we realize our circumstances.

好、好、好，不是缺少亮点，而是缺少发现！金子终于发光了……

好了，已经有聪明人把经济等“实”的东西谈得亮丫丫地透彻了，现在鬼爷就画龙添足，说一说“虚”的东西――精神。

鬼爷认为，移民分成三类：

1）适合移民又恰好移民了的人；

2）本质优秀、实质不适合移民却米已成炊的人；

3）把移民机遇看成一种资源、看成走向成功的一个必经环节（而不是终点）、自始至终在争分夺秒提升自己的人。

这些人当中，有人本来就应该一声不吭回去，有人得偿所愿、可以建立自己的曾经是遥远梦想中第二家园，有人的心胸也许比加拿大还要大、并不计较一时的得失。

总之，移民的目的不同、境界不同，结论当然有差异。所有的争论，重要的不应是说服、压服，而是找到舒服－－从比较中找到真正令自己舒服的归宿。

离去的人，自有他们的道理，此处不提。留下来的仍要继续……鬼爷打包票10年后加国就是华人的天下，但10年的坚持，本身就需要韧性。

特别是，每一户移民，在各自移民故事的背后，都有过一段刻骨铭心的辉煌，更不应该在暂时的困难面前怀疑自己的能力、流露出永恒的不自信。

……多向历史学习，文化大革命是怎么过来的，大家可以问问各自的长辈－－那十年是那么漫长，让你相信再长二十年都有可能、长到地球爆炸都有可能。那是不是大家都趴到不干了？都去性街（也有人叫圣嘉芙莲街）卖淫？都向鬼佬投怀送抱？都自怨自艾？……什么是勤奋上进、什么是乐观自信，一点儿都不应改变－－你得意时候所坚持的信念，现在仍要如常坚持。

好就是好、坏就是坏，相信自己的是非观念，做一个值得让人称道的人，不要做些丢脸的事，否则你父母会流泪，中国人会流泪。……顺境固然可喜，逆境也是人生的一部分，善于学习的人才会改变生活。

最后有一个说法是别人送给鬼爷的，鬼爷留着没用干脆转送大家：加拿大就象一根蔗，一节一节地耐心啃，大概三五年才开始觉得有点甜，七八年左右，你就会咬到蔗的另一端，不单止甜，而且开始有生根的感觉了……（相信随着众多华人实力的增长，这个周期会缩短）
