四川地震，我们也做点我们可以做的事情吧。

这是台湾对这次地震的报道，对中国政府的反映挺正面，而且对温家宝的评价很不错。

我们身在海外，有力而难及灾区。但可以通过捐钱在尽点里。在加拿大可以通过加拿大红十字会把钱捐给中国地震。

在表格的中下部，有个可以选择的区域叫"Fund Designation"，在方形区域里面选"China Earthquake"。这样，所捐的钱就会专门用于中国地震。

如果你想捐的金额大于$100，可以选择"Other", 然后在右边填入你想捐的金额。

在表格里，最好填入你的EMAIL。捐款成功后，你会收到一份EMAIL回执，里面有可以打印出来用于抵税的收据。

捐款方式可以信用卡或者INTERACT。

捐了钱后一段时间，我只敢浏览地震报道大标题。因为每次看每次都哭，哭得眼睛难受。

有一次看见一个英文版的地震报道，是多伦多的一个博士编写的，我看了两遍，每次都泪如泉涌。

自以为学会了冷漠无情，但在同胞的苦难面前，心里的堤防却一下子崩溃。

这次看的熏衣草农场是加拿大最大的，离Montreal大概1小时40分钟的车程。农场的面积还不小，有的规模。天气晴朗的时候在熏衣草田旁边野餐很舒服。人可以在熏衣草旁边走动，也可以用手触碰花。熏衣草花摸起来有种毛绒绒的感觉。 在农场里可以看农场录制的电影讲解熏衣草是怎样播种和收割，以及怎样制出精油。挺有意思。

这里的熏衣草品种是English Lavender。整株比较矮，花穗也比较短。我在法国普罗旺斯看到的是比较高的品种，而且花穗也很长，花很多。但花的香味基本一样。

去看熏衣草的季节是7月到8月初。一般农场会在8月初收割熏衣草。虽然农场里有卖自己制作的各类熏衣草产品，但价格比在蒙特利尔同类店里卖的贵。
