中国有真东西吗？官员的讲话，媒体的报道，满街的商品，人们怀揣的文凭，新闻中的产值GDP，就连中国电信的IP电话都是假的。谁能告诉我，在中国什么是真的？

中国到处是假货，中国人还把做假带到世界各地。去问一下Conordia大学和McGil大学的招生负责人，有几个中国人的申请材料是真的。

靠！这里地铁里面居然一点手机信号都没有！国内现在在很多森林、偏僻山村里都有信号，北京地铁里信号都是全覆盖（不管是移动还是联通）！不知道这里的手机运营商怎么想的，这难道也是“加拿大电信比中国电信领先多少个十年”的表现？

今天看到 “什么公司手机在地铁里有信号? ” 这个帖子，并且闲着没事，于是回应一下“飞鱼在天”的这个帖子。

为了给忙碌了一天的乘客有一个相对“安静”的“拥挤”空间，蒙特利尔地铁公司 www.Stm.info 一直限制手机公司在地铁里开通手机信号。为了妥协手机公司的争取和为乘客提供地铁里打手机方便，地铁公司于前年开通了部分站点的手机信号，比如McGill站。因此，地铁里不开通手机信号并不是技术原因，而是这个社会的人文关怀的一种体现。

这使我想起，前年回国在东方明珠塔的电梯里，拥挤的乘客安静地听着开电梯的小姐用中英文介绍东方明珠塔的时候，忽然手机铃响起，一个男子不顾周围的环境，打开电话操着苏北口音旁若无人地侃侃而谈，当时那个情景跟领袖胡主席倡导的“和谐”社会建设是何等的不和谐。

大部分从国内和外省初到蒙特利尔的朋友们对在蒙特利尔红灯时汽车不可左转而感到不习惯，国内来的记者们可能会因此说加拿大的工作效率太差了。红灯不可左转，蒙特利尔是加拿大唯一的一个城市，这正恰好体现了法裔文化的人文精神：给行人留下多一点时间和空间，让他们安全地通行，使这个社会更和谐。

刚到蒙特利尔的部分新移民留学生还有驻加拿大的中国记者，往往根据自己的世界观与价值观和浮光掠影的观察而得出结论：什么加拿大的出租车业消亡了，什么地铁里没手机电信落后了。我闲着没事发起这个Thread的目的，就是想给这些人上上课，给他们讲解一点儿加拿大社会和文化的ABC，让他们知道他们盲人摸象得出的结论是如何的浅薄与无知。

中国电讯的落后不是技术与资金上的落后，而是体制的落后，只要中国电信由国家操控、由利益集团操控，国人自由享受先进电信技术与西方国家（包括加拿大）的时间差就不会短，这个时间差要用十年来计。

你似乎对中国电信的发展很满意。不能否认中国电信在世界电信发展的大环境下，在世界（欧美）电信技术发展的带动下发展了。（注意：我这里用“带动下”，是因为中国在电信技术方面跟其它工业科技方面一样几乎没有自主知识产权的东西，所谓的一些公司的自主研发也都是拿着外来的东西照猫画虎）。

为什么大家不能接受中国电信被指出的因体制落后所形成的种种弊端？这难道算是一种爱国？看看今天搜狐新闻首页的这篇文章：清华教授称中国日本国民素质差距有30年 中日经济差距80年，你是不是会说清华这位教授甚至搜狐网站都是不爱国或者是反华？

本闲人去年圣诞节这个时候去过一次日本，在那里停留的时间不常，但是感受颇深，本想在这个网上写点东西，后来还是没有动手。

一个不敢正视自己问题好大喜功的民族是不可能真正进步的民族。

在电信方面中国确实不少地方超过加拿大...但加拿大也有好的地方...

有些地方很难比较...就说电视制式吧北美的ntsc可是比不上中国pal, 但很多非洲国家也是PAL, 赫赫, 所以有些是难以比较的...

没有人非得说中国比加拿大好，都是相对的，加拿大对中国人来说，也不见得就是好得不得了，如此比起来，其实一丁点意思都没有。国内也没有人非得那加拿大跟中国比这比那，毫无意义，一味比下去，只能发掘出一大堆中国愤青和加拿大愤青。

中国人真的并不缺乏智慧，也没有幼稚到自己没有基本的判断能力，只不过现在的国内的中国人真的很务实，更加关注眼前的生活在一天天好起来的事实。至于电信行业在中国，投诉率一直在各行业前列，不过反过来说，手机真是国内人的生活必需品了，汽车也绝对不是什么奢侈品，这些都是进步，不是在退步吧。

对生活的预期值决定了目前的生活态度，国内中国人的持续不断的令人敬畏的努力，一定会深刻地改变现状，负责地说，这种乐观向上的心态是海外的中国人所欠缺的。

我反对那种看起来很可观其实在走偏锋的言论，虽然那是你的权利，但失去了客观的心态，也就失去了判断一切的能力。
