in my opinion, sometimes, you gotta be very tough to them.
last year, i had this very unhappy experience with Bell sympatico too....
i was overbilled almost 120 bucks for 2 months...was kinda furious on finding this out, then i just called their 24 hours service centre right away, i still remembered it's around 11pm that night...i was informed by a guy said i was overcharged cuz i've downloaded from internet over 2GBs, each extra GB they charged me 7 bucks and bla, bla, bla....
on hearing this, i just got very jumpy and i started very "nice" to him since he didn't telling the truth, as i haven't been informed when i made the verbal contract with one of their sals representative! in fact, i sweared a bit...
then i just asked him a question:
how much you charge each month for unlimited downloading?
he said: $35 plus tax (smthg like that, i forgot the exact amount).
then, i fought back: "look, boy, if in this case, for which reason i didn't chose this service set instead of being charged almost 60 buck per month? did it make any sense? No wonder everyone says that Bell is going down but still making lots of money and you call that SYMPATICO!!!"
our conversation ended by he agreed to double check my file and i was asked to call them again the following business day....of course, the next morning, i did called and seemed the boy he has done his homework! A nice lady she promised me that they would correct that by not charging me any thing in the next few months!!
i called them three times for getting all these stuffs fixed...pretty upset.... |
