I think that price is a reasonable. If you buy it from a dealer, I am afraid you only can get it for $8000. If you buy it from owner, $7500 is a good deal.

Don't forget go to SAAQ to check the insurance record $8 and go to CAA to do the whole inspection $167+tax for non-CAA member and $142+tax for CAA member.

The inspection is worth to do because for a second hand car, you ALWAYS can find something wrong during the inspection, and you can argue for a lower price with the owner. For dealers, I am not sure.

ronado,according to the maintance of car, when it runs about 10k KM, many need to be changed, especially the timing belt.... which cost a lot. it is better to ask what has been changed and get the proof from the owner. as other said, having the car inspected by an independent mechanic will provent your wallete from a lot of lost.
especially the brand is not so good.  :cool:

据我所知，通常车主会在10万公里前后换，尤其常走高速者。价格嘛，labour 大概1.5h是可以接受的。parts则与厂家（原厂，或通用产品）等有关。
如果修的是大问题的，建议到有信誉的garage，因为对这些大问题，labour 是基本一样的价，54~55$/h（本人致电给过十家以上的garage)。
千万别贪便宜到越人黑厂.

换timing belt这东西还看是什么车吧,有的车容易换象toyota那种位置好的几下就换好了象honda那类在下面的就要把发动机吊起点贵都没法啦
