一封挑衅信和回复
Facebook上有个比利时人发来一封信,内容如下:
Sports will NEVER be free of politics, because NOTHING is. We have been jostling for power since we discovered fire, and it isn't going to change anytime soon.
Having said that, I fully support the protesters and the struggle of the Tibetan people. Another tiananmen square is happening right before our eyes, and your concerned about the "Olympic spirit?" What about the human spirit? What about the cries of the women beaten by Chinese soldiers?
To hell with the Olympics, and long live Tibet!
以下是我的回复:
What a statement, you politics-lover! I bet you wake up every morning with nothing around except politics. Buddha bless you.
Having said that, I feel great pity for you as you are too brainwashed to tell black from white. You live in believing instead of reality, ignoring the FACTs that your "Tibet" has never been acknowledged as an independent state since the establishment of the League of Nations and the United Nations. The region has been under the Chinese regimes for hundreds of years, and now is STILL an autonomic region of PRC – yes, the Xizang Autonomic Region (TAR, if you prefer Tibet to Xizang), exactly what the fourteenth Dalai Lama is verbally claiming for, except that the ruler of it is not him. With your good knowledge in politics (I suppose so) you can surely explain better what territorial integrity means and why religion should be separated from government.
You said you support the "struggle" of the Tibetan people? Oops, you might not aware of the STRUGGLING life of Tibetan people before the 1950s. It was a slavery society. Bunches of documentaries and history researches by Western scholars have studied the social status under Dalai's rule, confirming the miserable living conditions of Tibetan people of the time. No matter how hard it is for you, old Tibet was freed from serfdom 50 years ago by the PLA. Wanna ignore it? Here is a convenient, short paper, http://www.michaelparenti.org/Tibet.html, in case you are avoiding lengthy, heavy books.
Another Tiananmen Square is happening right before your eyes? Check your eyesight, please. You deliberately ignore the FACTs that recent "protests" in Lhasa were nothing but violence. Talk to your Western fellows who were there at the time (if you can't get one, here is a backup: http://kadfly.blogspot.com). Violence is NOT Buddhism; violence is WRONG. Wanna tag human-rights (or human spirit as you prefer) labels to the thugs who burned houses and cars, attacked innocent children and seniors, destroyed public and private properties? Shame on you!
Glad that you mentioned Tiananmen Square. I was one of the student protesters in 1989 and knew clearly how and why the tragedy was happened. Don’t ever try to equal the 1989 Tiananmen Movement to recent Tibetan riots. It only confirms your ignorance and irresponsible remarks. I am also proud to say that the generation of 1989 is now the hard core of China. They work hard with an open heart to build a better society, a dream that sparkled in Tiananmen Square 20 years ago. It is YOU who ignore and deny the progress they have made.
Wanna sugar yourself as a fighter for the self-determination “in” Tibet? Holy shit! Tibetan people have already determined their way in the past 50 years. You just ignore again the FACTs that the recent violence were organized by people outside the TAR instead of those inside, in the name of the sacred Dalai who betrayed his words and escaped from the holy land 50 years ago, leaving his followers behind. He might still be the spiritual leader of whatever, but will never be the ruler of TAR again. External noisy might satisfy outsiders like you, but will never change the FACTs that ethnic Tibetans are the family of China and are living improved lives of their choices not only in TAR but throughout the country. Deal with it.
To hell with your human spirit, and long live Tibet as part of China! |
