go to hospitals (NOT CLSC) to take tests, such as blood test, because, after that, you can go to hospitals to ask for a copy of your test results without any costs (you have the right to do so).

CLSC可以做血检的，为什么NOT CLSC？请教。

sure, you can take blood test at CLSC, but you can't get the results there. that was what i meant.

遇到这种事情也真是让人不愉快，我感觉这家诊所不太好，还是换一家吧。

在这里你可以随时换你的家庭医生，也可以有多个家庭医生（如果你愿意），没人会追究你为什么更换医生，只要你想换就可以。

有的医生真的很为他的病人着想，下一次找一个好医生，免得再遇到不愉快的事。

当医生给你开单的时候，你可以问一下这项检查是不是免费的，哪里可以做免费检查等等，这是你的权力呀。

如果换了我是你，他们那样态度对待我，我就不要这份检查结果了，换个医生再作一次又何妨？

我上一次到CLSC要我的检查结果，他们给了我迄今为止我在montreal作的所有检查的结果，都是免费的。

还是忘掉这些不愉快，重新找个医生吧。

这个医生也是我的家庭医生，在那里看病的经验也就2-3次，也从来

没有发生过很不愉快的经历。看了楼主的经历，我个人感觉其实就是

那位秘书没有处理好诊所与病人的关系，态度非常RUDE，才导致了

这个不愉快的经历。从诊所的角度看，楼主没有赴约CHARGE你40

元，或者从楼主的角度因为被气走了要讨个说法我个人觉的都是可以

理解的。有些诊所的医生病人太多，你忘记去赴约他也根本不CARE

的，有些诊所医生就安排了那么多病人一天，你不去就损失了他的钱

了。如果楼主和这个诊所关系弄僵了我的建议你就换一家诊所重新做

个检查好了。我估计你的血检报告没有啥大问题的，这个医生无论你

的血检有没有问题都会叫你去重新和你讲解一下，我就是觉的这个过

程挺好的，才去的这家诊所。另外对楼上有个朋友的说法：说POOR

CLINIC. POOR DOCTOR,BAD CHINESE WIFE觉的说法有点不

妥，如果没有很有力的证据这样说人家真的很不好。我觉的她的

WIFE挺好的啊，能说中文，交流起来也挺方便的。

看了半天你的post, 才搞清出你的医生请你付的不是验血费(这跟去CLSC或hospital没有关系), 而是你擅自取消appointment的罚金.

这事起因错是在你们, 你以为你可以拿两个人的报告, 不知道只有自己才能领自己的report. 估计他们的秘书也态度不好, 没跟你解释清楚, 或者人家以为那$40很清楚, 不用解释多.

但是当你等候你LG的时候, 他们是有权看下一个病人的, 因为医生的时间宝贵, 其他病人的时间也宝贵, 不应该为你们不懂规矩耽搁了他们的时间.

而估计你对秘书态度也不怎么样, 所以人家也不会有什么好气, 这样导致你负气离开. 他们收你的钱, 是因为你那么一走, 白白占用了医生的时间, 本来他们可以看别的病人的. 事实上, 你自己决定要走, 你就应该承担这个费用.

看看你的第一篇贴子, 口口声讨"这个国家""这种事"接下来却叫医生的老婆看在彼此是同胞的份上免了你这40大洋, 你本身对事物都有双重标准, 用这样的处事方式, 还觉得自己理直气壮, 真是让人不知道说什么好.

我认为人家收那40$没错. 如果你实在不想付这40刀, 又想知道自己的健康状况, 只好另外约个医生, 另外做一次血检了.

那个诊所charge他们是因为他们miss了appointment, 不是对验血本身或解释报告收费. 这里很多同胞都知道别的诊所也有类似的收费. 如果说他们只对中国人这样, 那是因为那个中国人不懂规矩罢了.

我不知道你那么judge别人是出于何居心, 什么叫unprofessional? 什么叫bad? 据我所知他们帮助了很多外语不好的同胞解决了健康方面的问题. 当然如果你不喜欢, 可以约别的医生, 无人强求.

However, regardless of public or private, you are absolutely NOT supposed to pay for the explanations from your doctors about the test results because that is a part of doctors' jobs and he/she gets paid for it from the gouvernments already. I know which clinic it is. They look unprofessional. A poor clinic, a poor doctor, a poor and bad Chinese wife. Therefore, they just want to charge their patients (I believe they only dare do so for Chinese patients) as much as they can. Actually, it was nothing to do with the secretary because, working for this kind of people, she would be fired if she was good to patients./ h  A3 I3 c& p: x) |" t4 K' x, e+ p

obvious, the clinic wants money, why they want lz's husband come? actually he eventually come, and they still charge 40 $. strange! only because late? but the doctor see other patients, the doctor did not lose anything.... they just want more excuse for money... If the results is fine, actually, the patient does not need to come, just waste time and the doctor makes more money
